Our Gold variety is the miso with the longest fermentation time. The salt crystals are completely absorbed by the miso and this gives it a more rounded and robust taste. Like aged wine, the is the miso for the connoisseurs.
IOWA MISO BALLS: 5 balls
With these IOWA MISO BALLS, you can enjoy an instant cup of miso-soup. You only need hot water, soy milk or regular milk.
Each ball contains: IOWA MISO, kombu sea vegetable, and shiitake mushroom powder, onion powder.
Toppings: sesame seeds, sun-dried mushrooms, carrots, parsley, green chive rings, wakame sea vegetable, and dried onions.
Directions for use: Put one IOWA MISO ball in a mug and add one cup of hot water (8 oz). Steep for 30 seconds to let the MISO ball dissolve, then gently mix well with a teaspoon. Enjoy your Miso-soup!
